    I just came up I 25 last evening,the bad spot was just North of Wheatland .There was a lot of icy stretches from Douglas to Kaycee,I was doing 35 across the ice.Southbound 25 was closed when I came through Buffalo.
    The highway signs were saying expect high winds,60 mph ,Sunday to Tuesday.

    Turned down a 4$+ per mile load Thursday that would have taken me across 80 because of the winds. 8' tall and tarps, yeah, no thanks

    When I used to run up to Calgary, reaching Wheatland was always a relief. The winds die down considerably just north of there.

    I talk to drivers all the time who have done that run.Dont know if they're on here or not.They see the truck or logo on my hat and start talking.
