Norfolk Southern Derailment-East Palatine,OH

Heads need to roll over this, and frankly, every one of those residents and businesses in that town that are affected to the point where they can no longer go home or even open their business I believe should be compensated to the fullest extent, maximum allowed… And I don’t even think they’ve gotten to the point of really knowing the full extent of the damage this thing is done

 

Assuming this doesn't become a Superfund site.

Sounds like a payoff to me. Wonder if acceptance of that entails losing the right to hold them responsible?

Anyway, it shows the train throwing sparks and fire 20 miles before it got to Palestine

It just struck me as odd. Corporations don't just hand out money unless it has the potential to save them a lot more of it. Sadly with the current costs of living I bet a lot of people accepted it without question.
