Good grief!! I am in Visalia. We have rotation showing on lower leel radar, and it is POURING, and the sky to the south of us is a sickly green, and glowwing!
No warnings out, and holy cow, it is pouring harder!!
What in Hell is THIS??

Life is not about waiting
for the storm to pass.
It's about learning to dance
in the rain.
Start dancin?

Let me tell you, that was a TRIP!! It POURED for about 30 minutes, and the wind was just ROARING... and just as suddenly as it came up, it died.

Eeek, a green sky is a sign of a tornado! My advice for next time you see that is to take cover.

Where? I did the best I could. We crawled in closets... but around here, there are no shelters for such things...

It's raining again... nothing scary this time, just a steady, soaking rain... We're now at 103% of normal rainfall for this time of year...

I just got into Sacromento an hour ago. Donner pass was snowing, but the roads are still good for now. Reno got hammered with about 2 feet of snow last night into today. Iam with Guyslady, come visit the valley, its nice here. I might not leave untill May, lol
GuysLady Thanks this. -
It's been beautiful. this is the greenest I can remember in a long, long time. Too bad it will all die and be brown by May.

I have a similar problem here, we had no idea west Georgia had become part of 'tornado alley' but it is.
Worse, we live in a ranch on a slab, so no basement. They usually say go to a room with no windows, or the bathroom because it is surrounded by pipes and that should give you some extra protection. For my folks that means their walk in closet and for me my bathroom. My closet needs a rummage sale
so no way I can get another hanger in there, let alone my whole body.
If you are driving I have no idea what to do, but I need to find out as that is always a possibility.

if driving in tornado weather
step 1 - tuck your head between your legs
step 2 -say a lil prayer
step 3 - kiss your democrat goodbye
