I've been accused of being negative,,again, but really, how could anyone POSSIBLY be positive. To show the scope of this, it's Wisconsin. I've been up and down this stretch so many times( it's right in front of Quad Graphics, if they are still there), and we NEVER experienced anything like this. I can partially understand, say, a San Antonio ice storm, but the Badger? Really? If I was in charge, I'd walk up to every truck that was involved, demand their license, and burn it right in front of them. You are not capable of driving a semi, GET OUT!!. I know, that would only exasperate the driver shortage problem, so you know what? Speed on. I, and many drivers like me, did our BEST to not let this happen, with crappy equipment, mind you, and we've adjusted our society to accommodate this, year after year, Freightliner after Freightliner. Keeps the folks in Ohio and NC working, so it's not all bad. And that putz Gruber, got to get his name in there at the top,,

Used to live in Waukesha County and the county highway departments in WI were responsible for maintenance and plowing, even on interstate highways within their jurisdiction. Washington County was well known for being incompetent in anything to do with snow removal. They would NEVER get ahead of a storm but instead wait it out before their feeble attempts at road clearing. A bunch of lazy clowns.
