Thank you all. Due to the supply shortage Im not able to find any F600 Diesel at any dealership in my city, state and the neighboring states. If I order it from ford, according to several dealership, it will take 6 months or even more to arrive. The price of a f350 is very close to the f550 now as they blame it on the supply and demand.
The only options I have left with is the F350 Diesel OR F550 Diesel. BTW, most of the ford dealers don’t have any Diesel engine in stock, so far only 2 of them has F550 diesel one truck, and they are 450 miles away from home. They run for about $75k+ fees and tax.
Im thinking about getting the F350 diesel and do a 3 car hauling instead of the 5 cars. However, the cost of equipment and expenses will be close to the 5 car hauling in terms of the price of the truck and the trailer. Adding if I add 2 sets of trucks/ equipment I will have to add more expenses and hire 2 drivers instead of one. If Ford has an F600 Diesel to sell me, I won’t face all this complication.
Its 2 am and I still can’t sleep .

The F550 has a RWAR of 15,700 or so. I fail to see the issue with it, aside from a horrible ride compared to the F650.

Have you considered a single axle tractor. There’s a few used ones in California right now with sleepers. I’ve been looking at them for awhile. I keep leaning towards a three axle myself though.
Right now there’s one in Madera. 2020 Cascadia sleeper single axle with I think 420,000 miles on it. It’s an automatic, Cummins 450 hp. It’s priced at $68k, or $69k. You can ad in a 2yr/200,000 warranty for another $7k and now you have an air ride truck that will do the job with little effort. You’ll just need to install a Hays air operated brake controller and wire in a RV style plug. Not hard to do.
What I don’t like about the new F650’s is that the highest horsepower you can get in one is 330 hp. You’ll want more hp than that in my opinion. Unless maybe you’re just running local?
And if you don’t need a sleeper truck ? There’s some decent deals out there for single axle low mileage freightliner day cabs. $40k to $60k . All of them are carb compliant.jeremylamesa and ducnut Thank this. -
Final update, I went with the F600, diesel 6.7L power stroke had about 33000lb towing capacity with upgraded axle … 4x4.

That’s the only way to go on these. They will easily get stuck in places that look like no big deal for this sort of truck. And, pulling a 5-car, there’s an awful lot of weight on the trailer, which is hard for a 2wd truck to pull on sketchy surfaces. Come winter, his drivers will be able to go into unplowed lots without much worry. With free-spinning front hubs, there’s no mileage loss.jeremylamesa Thanks this.

I'm going to disagree with you on the GM 6500-5500-4500.. I just had to get rid of mine because GM couldn't supply me with the parts to fix it. My 5500MD was a great truck right up until I had the turbo actuator go out and GM has zero in the entire country. I couldn't even source a complete turbo with the actuator because that truck uses a different turbo/actuator than the standard trucks and GM decided apparently it's not important enough to supply these items for broken trucks, but instead, just use them for building new trucks.
So my GM 5500MD truck has been broken down since Thanksgiving because GM decided spare parts inventory is not needed. International couldn't source the part either so I had to get rid of the truck..
IMO stay the #### away from any of these new trucks, none of the manufacturers are keeping up with the spare parts supplies after the chip shortages..Brandonpdx Thanks this.
