Like everyone else mentions. Timber up top with protectors, 3 straps, The only difference for me, is that I'd chain the pallets at the deck level front and back, to keep them from moving from under them on a hard brake situation and keep them under those 3 straps.

 

Congrats. 38 years for the wife and I, but we've been "hooked" for 46 years. Long relationship/courting. Probably what's kept us together and not in jail for those justifiable's.
