Years ago long term lease trucks from major leasing companies were ok buys because they mostly were leased by private carriers that didn't employ ####### .
Now they will lease to any ape with some cash and a cdl and I wouldn't touch one with a ten foot pole .

Stay away from the Dd13's. Great fuel milage but thats about it.

I'm biased I guess. Detroit has been my go to and stay rolling cost effective engine for over 20 years now.

I agree. They used to be neck in neck until detroit pulled above the pack in last 10 years...all you heard was give me a detroit or red top all day; now very seldom do I hear mention of red top.
