Hello from Ohio

Hello all...My name is Dawn. I live in Ohio and my husband is in his 1st year of being an OTR trucker. I go with him from time to time which is really nice. I am actually at home now getting everything prepared for our taxes.
I was looking for tax preparation advice when I stumbled upon this site. I started reading and found alot of useful tips so I decided to join. I plan on getting my CPA and doing taxes since I do have an accounting degree now and love crunching numbers which are my interests.
I decided to get involved because we all learn things in this industry everyday and sharing those insights in 1 place instead of many different sites can be of use to anyone who stumbles onto this site as I did...

Thanks everyone...LOL..Yes, I love numbers, just figuring all this trucking deductions and so forth with all the new laws and everything. I've done my families taxes for years and my own. Im new to the whole trucking taxes though, so I am learning myself at the moment and doing alot of research before I even attempt to do them...

 

ah yes, there is alot of interesting reads on here. I found myself looking through here for hours. Thank you for all the warm welcomes. I am happy to meet so many people having the same adventure..Life as a truck driver's wife is a wonderful and adventurous life..I look forward to talking to all of you and even sharing insights with eachother..
