“Hit and run”
Fog and icy roads..no way I’d be pulling over onto the shoulder unless my truck was disabled.
Not calling it in..eh.bzinger, Aamcotrans, Another Canadian driver and 2 others Thank this. -
Those are very tasty animals
I d prolly get caught trying to load upAnother Canadian driver and jsnell Thank this. -
Hmmmm......the phrase, "Knock Em Dead" comes to mind.....is that type of hit and run a crime?
Another Canadian driver and mjd4277 Thank this. -
WTF!!!!!!!!!!! Fog, ice and not much of a shoulder. They were animals not people. 14 dead antelope is a lot better than my truck in the ditch laying on it's side. The driver did the right thing, kept the rig in a straight line. Somebody takes their job to seriously calling that a hit and run.

First time hearing about this.Concorde and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
They’re not mad about hitting the pronghorn.
They’re mad because it wasn’t reported (required under Colorado law).
I remember a couple of years ago North Carolina Highway Patrol was pissed because someone hit a black bear on I-40 eastbound near Old Fort, which is pretty much in the national park! No one reported it however so it was a big deal to them. -
If called in sometimes they can give away the meat . A local hit a moose near me they called the reserve and the meat was gone in 30 minutes.

I suppouse now the Parks & Wildlife is gona request congrational hearings and a Government study spending billions of tax dollars how all CMV must be equipped prong horn fog horns to prevent such a horrific disaster in the future
I expect Sleepy Joe will use that in his Re election campaign strategy too -
Pronghorn are the fastest animals in North America and second fastest in the world only to the cheetah. I remember driving through Wyoming in the summer and seeing packs of them moving incredibly fast. Hate to see so many of them killed. They are quite graceful and amazing in the wild.
mtoo Thanks this.
