Permit 105k on 5 axles in Ohio. How does my permit improve my brakes?

Other states are heavier. 105 on 5, is nothing.

90k is no issue. But the main goal, they want you to gross 90k, for 80k prices. The goal is to move more for less.

Don't brag to me about hauling heavy, till your making money.

It's not about safety, overweight permits are easy to get as long as it's a non divisible load, so it's about revenue just like everything else in trucking. However I wouldn't wanna see some of these new drivers with anything over 80k they can't even handle that.

MORE money. Lots more. Some drivers would haul 90000 at $2/mile.

Axels are rated at 20k each.
You have 92k in weight ratings without modification.
5 ton isn't going to increase stopping distance by much.

Maybe you can, and maybe the trucks can handle it without any issues, but I just don’t trust the current “modern” breed of Turdcadia driver to handle what they have safely now let alone after adding 10K to their max.

On every road, at every curve, every day there is a truck that rolled on it’s side. More freight, more loads shifting, more rollovers, more traffic delays.

Shippers organizations have been pushing for longer and heavier trucks for years. And they won't stop either. The trucking industry has been on the short end of these type changes for years. Trailers went from 40 to 18 to 53 and the industry pretty much just gave that extra capacity to shippers. Won't be any different here.
