smoothest ride trucks

Volvo has the ride alright. Still sometimes see the nose bouncing like crazy though. No one mentioned set back front axle. Further away the steer axle is from your seat the better. Most Trucks are offered in a short hood design with a ”setback” axle. Loaded heavy, best to have a little more weight on drives if possible. Keeping in mind average fuel amounts, full, half , whether you’ll be burning some off, or adding.

 

I don't think there's any rougher ride than camelback suspension.

 

Hendrickson spring over walking beam with solid mounted walking beam suspension on the trailer. That's a nice, smooth ride

best ride is about a 300” wheel base pete on low leaf with an air front…
