Make sure you wear your combat boots not only from the parking lot to the showers, but also IN the showers! The most important part of being a trucker is to never wear flip flops.

The most important part of being a trucker is not becoming a TUB so that you have to wear flip flops, cause you can't put on socks or reach the laces in your boots or shoes.

What’s your take on those rechargable flashlights?

I found one left in my trailer from when I had a day off last year and have using it at work ever since. It recharges with a phone charger cable.

How do you keep her from darting out as soon as the door is opened? Mine would definitely be trying to get out.

She's been on the truck for 5 years now, she's 14, and doesn't try it anymore.

She had gotten out twice in that time, and pretty much would just go under the truck.

I lost my other cat Kitty at a shipper. Never even knew it until hours later.

Took an Uber back, 100 miles, never found him.

What's the benefit of the fifth wheel puller?

Makes it a little easier to pull the fifth wheel release handle. You don't have to reach up under the trailer. I wouldn't consider it essential. I've never had one. The truck I have now has an air release 5th wheel from a button in the cab. When it works. Sometimes I still have to get out and pull it.
