Wouldnt you expect them to cut back on the frac-ing etc with the oil prices starting to slide? Doesnt look like a good bet long term

Who knows.It’s a lot different now then when it was booming from 11’-14’.Companies then took on a ton of debt and rigs were in every direction you looked.Nowadays they figured out how to cut cost and make a profit at low crude prices.lost_sole Thanks this.

I agree 100%. I left North Dakota a few months ago after being incredibly disappointed with the current state of oilfield work there. There are a lot of promises and big talk about making a lot of money but there's always some rationalization as to why YOU are not going to get what you have come to expect. Driver turnover is high because people get wise to the BS, many who stay do so because of continuous hope that things will get better and there is no shortage of people up there who convince themselves of all sorts of nonsense to keep themselves where they're at.4wayflashers, Dadetrucking305 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
