Well... When those tires shred and the driver rolls on nothing but rim for 25 miles.... He's kinda prepared.

Fire extinguisher: check!

 

This is going to save dogs some trouble seeing as how the fire hydrant is between two tires.

 

Dog won't know where to aim.

Never know what will get caught up in the duals,,I've picked up a lot of wagons, I don't recall a fire hydrant stuck in the tandems, someone got some 'splanin' to do. Shouldn't be too hard to find where it came from with the impending geyser it created. I'd say pressure a bit low in that area.

 

Yellow painted hydrants in our area mean they are connected to a pump upstream that has to be turned on to supply it. So ripping one off its base wouldn't cause a geyser.
Red is full time high pressure.
Black is full time low pressure.

 

If you get careless with a D-6 in Colusa County California a fully charged hydrant and three joints of supply line on either side of it cost $6500 bucks to replace . That was in 2001. And no, I didn't fire the Cat skinner.
