Been looking for a reasonably price pup trailer to go with the 379 dump truck. Found one just outside of St. Louis. Aluminum with air ride, is what I wanted and patience, paid off. Needs tires, new wet line and acidized. Get some better pics today.![]()

Always enjoyed pulling a pup. Always for fuel though, most people thought I was nuts, lol. Guaranteed no body was gonna use the truck and trailer on my days off!!

Yeah, that kinda the sentiment around these parts, too. Used to be a pup behind a dump truck was common place(80’s) but folks quit them and went to 4,5 and 6 axle trucks. I’ve never been one to follow a trend so, even though my truck has extra axles, I’m adding a pup and gonna haul 25T per hitch.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Does the lead axle pivot? That's quite a spread, never seen one like that before.
-
so what’s the total load for the combination?

Almost certain that truck and pup, will be around 29,700. Total wheel base of the two when connected is 60’.
-
All the pups I have pulled had steerable fronts. I guess when you look at what you have there, it’s about the same distance between the wheels as a ‘spread axle’ trailer.mile marker 27 and Speedy356 Thank this.

That doesn’t look anything remotely close to something that would haul puppies. You dump guys are strange.

Oh just great, again with the coffee all over the keyboard!!
That one gave me a hella chuckle.
