@Rahat, unfortunately DD's observation can be the hard truth of life. As for wanting to just drive across the country endlessly because that is your dream. We all have dreams, hopes, and barriers. And nothing wrong with yours but no dreams are free or easy.
Not sure of your origins in a nationality sense, but I know mine being Australian doesn't always sync with American, which is the dominant way of thinking on this forum. So sometimes good will, or understanding of a view, or statements can be taken a few ways let along the variances in American.
I'd say hang in there and keep plodding. That is what we all are doing. I say to my kids life is not always on 10. In fact its usually 5 to 6 with ocasional peaks of 9 and 10, or sometimes 1 and 2. Life is a journey of experiences, its your choices that help you stay in the higher bracket. And don't expect much to happen over night. The dream might but making it happen doesn't.
Keep the drug use to a minimium as much as possible, plenty of here have vouched for that and know the pitfalls. Utilise as much free stuff as possible for better choices. Like good healthy food over fast and convenient. Excise using your own body weight, take in nature, find a healthy social network. Middle ground is always healthier than at the extreme ends no matter where or what you are doing in life. Not as sexy, but better long term.Space Truckin, TexasRiverRat, Diesel Dave and 1 other person Thank this. -

I am being more mature than you right now, sir! How old are you? I hope younger than 38, because you are acting like one right now.

With most of your postings, I highly doubt that. You don’t see it due to the prescription medication’s your on. Calling 911 like you mentioned on the close thread for asking them that your gonna be parked on the side of the road wasn’t necessary. If you ever get off the hardcore medications, you’ll see the world differently and hopefully you’ll be able to get your CDL. But as of now, you seem your world is perfect and everyone else is wrong, you had a lot of good advice on the previous closed thread which you chose to be defensive. So my advice to you would be(and take it as you wish) listen, read and get off those meds. Wish you the best……. “Sir”.Last edited: Mar 27, 2023

If you can't take the truth being told to you here , you will never be able to take the abuse you will receive from shippers, receivers , dispatchers and the general public . I would suggest that you make a different career decision.
