Curious, about the no-pivot ...... do you have to be very careful concerning rubber wear, or are your turns wide enough in a dump that it is not an issue?
Thanks

Usually turning isn’t as much of a dragging or sliding issue as when dumping. Gotta jack knife the trailer, to dump the truck. I wouldn’t jack knife the trailer when it’s loaded, with a spread axle pup.Speedy356 Thanks this.

Got the old tires off, put some good used ones on the inside, while my outside wheels are getting polished. Old wet lines are removed and new ones being made. This pup has no chains or cables, to keep its front axle on the ground(tipping backwards due to pivoting tongue) while load is a being dumped. I plan on spreading rock with this pup as well, so keeping it on the ground is a must. Any ideas or pics on how to fabricate this between the tongue and neck?

The Asphalt haulers back home pull two pups behind a dump.
The tongues are solid no pivot.mile marker 27 Thanks this. -
A solid tongue won’t rare up in the front and typically when hauling asphalt, the paver will hold the arse end of the pup, so it will keep all fours on the ground.
