    Has anyone heard anything about the proposed Petro in Monteagle, Tn? It seems like another town that doesn't want an additional truck stop in their town. They have a Pilot and adjacent to the Petro site is a truck repair facility. The jobs and revenue would greatly enhance the well being of this community. I hope it gets resolved.

    I appreciate the update. It seemed like another town/city that doesn't want a truck stop in their area even though the town's committee approved the construction. If they don't want it just build somewhere that does and let the jobs and taxes go to somewhere where it's wanted.

    Yep. Still open. Was packed when I was there. Buffet was well stocked. Parking lot needs some maintenance but still enough parking for 30+ trucks

    They don’t want the truckstop to be built across the street from this historic location. Wouldn’t want to bring the property value down. IMG_6623.png
