I was over to Kevin's house a few months back to shoot a little pool and enjoy a little vintage Dom Perignon. He asked, so I told him I thought buying USX would be a good move.

Should have brought @Lonesome with you. Probably could have negotiated a better deal.
He's quick with words and whatnot.

He was considering buying Western Express. I told he if he did, we couldn't be friends anymore.

False. Not enough information to conclude what anyone has or has not done to leave a Trucking/Transportation company. I am not a judge, just another Former 20+ Years Long/Short Haul Dry Van and Skateboard Truck Driver making MY possibly conceivable conclusions regarding repetitive responses seemingly informing what "this or that company did to me" usually not followed by what the persons may or not have done to get such response/responses. There is a plethora of STANDARD WHINING & CRYING from countless Drivers leaving of their own accord as well companies giving them the boot.
Often "the facts and situations" are given in the "descriptions" by some percentage of the former employees. Often their "responses" are negative and cringe worthy as well just short of common sense and logic.
    Believe as thou wilt.

I can only read and perceive information about what has been given and write responses accordingly.
I've no concern and no control if/when people don't like what I post.
Not everyone likes everyone as well every thing.
I've no more control over what other people think than other people have over I.
I shall continue "making theoretical conclusions based on the information
    I can see in print".

Long winded I am and it shall not change.

Best if you put me on ignore then you'll not see me anymore.
I really dig this scene at Truckersreport and have zero interest to park my rig in soft sand.

To Thine Self Be True. CHEERS!!

Theyre huge, call it 20,000 trucks times $10,000 profit each(its probably more with them self insuring and cheap meat in the seat) comes to $200m per year. Thats alot of money to throw around.

The Knight boys started out working at Swift. They stayed friends with Moyes I’m sure. When he was ready to retire, he brought Knight back into the fold.

Full disclosure: I worked for Knight for 18 months. I was treated pretty well for that time. Left to be home daily.

    Lonesome and JoeyJunk Thank this.
