I don't think so. Usually the more red the state....the more sensible it is. There are some states that don't enforce it either. As long as you don't idle in town and keep folks up at night that is.

South Dakota doesn't have any idle laws either.
There are noise ordinances like any other place; people can complain if you idle too close to a residential area at night. Otherwise, you can basically do as you please.

Any other industry it would violate both state; federal health and safety laws....
It's not about "Saving the environment" anyways.....if it were....how come CALTRANS trucks can sit and idle all freaking day??? -
Another reason why I love SD.....Commonsense......could you please ship some of that down to Kommiefornia?
