I selected the last option...get rid of the worst of the worst.

Sounds kinda harsh maybe...but it will be better for all of us in the long run.

    JustSonny and TXtrucker71 Thank this.

I agree. But I had to make Option #1 first. They're scared ****less over this thing.

Sorry about floating this thing back to the top. It's a HUGE issue and I see a lot of apathy out there. Perhaps it's just my wannabe naivete at work. But I've read literally everything I've been able to find about CSA 2010, I've watched and participated in several webinars, and, quite frankly, I believe there's way to much misinformation being put out....not from FMCSA, ATA, and the like, but from drivers. And, no matter what has been written about how carriers will be affected, FMCSA has, in fact launched this "initiative" to get the attention of DRIVERS. This "new" deal (CSA 2010) has origins dating back to 2002, perhaps farther back than that. ATRI has done it's work and CSA 2010 is the result. Not all of the "credit" can go to ATRI but if you'll read some from their website, I think you'll agree that when "ATRI talks, FMCSA listens". There are numerous other trucking related issues that are either being researched right now by ATRI or that have been researched by ATRI and will be studied by DOT (FMCSA) for future insertation into trucking industry norms. ATRI's batting average is pretty good!

At least your carrier is aware of it. Many carriers, it seems, are just now waking up to this initiative that's actually been years in the making.

My Carrier don't seem to care, but If the option was there saying it is a "wolf in Sheep's clothing," that is where I would put my vote!
