6nz injectors and ECM for MXS

Soooo afternoon y’all I have a question that I’m sure has been asked and beaten down a lot but I just got a 6nz in a Pete 379 that was handed to me after my buddy committed suicide this week. I feel bad but he basically told me if something happens to me the truck is yours. Well the truck needs some work to be road ready and the motor was just warrantied from a leaking spacer plate. I’d like to pull the injectors and the ecm and put them on my MXS since I like the bottom end better. I thought of pulling motor with his 18 speed and putting it in my truck but I don’t want to ####### his truck. My MXS single turbo is just a turd and it’s frustrating that I can’t climb Colorado hills to save my life. Anyway besides the mess you ready please give me some advice. Thank In Advance.

 

Bjytech, apologies for the late response it’s been a thought go getting this truck to the house. I see where you’re coming from and I 100% agree with it. I do believe my ecm has an issue I need to pin down due to Cat ET not showing specs on laptop for some reason. It states my truck is in constant motion even tho I’m stopped. I also pulled my fass system off my daily and put it in my Pete reset psi to 100 at idle and dadgum not sure why I didn’t sooner….. I have throttle at 65 climbing loaded at 80k. She starts to walk up hill and egts are lower when doing so. I’m not going to ####### his truck I can’t just want to get it dot up to par and run it in his honor.
