Are those Tesla owners upset because the meme’s might be about them still wearing a covid mask while driving in spring 2023?

Someone once told me that anything that can can be accessed remotely or is hooked up to the internet can be hacked.

That doesn't surprise me. But it does strike me as overkill, seeing as how everything they do on the computer or the phone is monitored.

I have an outward facing camera with no mic. I understand it from a company perspective, but I'll never be able to wrap my head around how people justify mic'd inward facing cameras in an OTR vehicle... I feel like the deaf outward is bad enough.

It all depends on the company. I have one in my truck and in the past 4 years it's been there I've been called maybe twice near the beginning mostly because I was complaining and deliberately trying to trigger the camera's "AI" to say I wasn't paying attention. I'm not some special super trucker who never follows too close, or has to get on the binders to slow down faster than if I had seen the stopped traffic 2 seconds earlier after checking my mirrors. It's all a package deal, but unfortunately there seems to be a lot of micromanaging mega wannabes out there.

I grossed 99K last year, no touch - home every weekend.

I doubt office workers make that.

No offence, but sounds like like the exact same argument from the anti-gun lobby. "Ban all guns" because of the actions of some. "Ban all driver facing cams" because of the actions of some companies.
