Old post I realize, but I know exactly what I would do in that situation. I'd move to AZ or NM and tell them I'll keep in touch; maybe send a post card.McUzi, Air Cooled and EuropeanTrucker Thank this.

Nope. Wife wanted me home every night. I’ve got little kids. I wanted to go for it but family first. I know it’s a great company.

do yall still sleep in the hotels? Just got all endorsements and applied for the regional OTR. Im already pulling doubles so hopefully I can get in easy. I ask about the hotels cause ive seen some estes sleepers driving around but I dont like sleeping in the truck. Reason I didnt like otr. Im in nashville

I interviewed with them awhile back and didn't end up taking the job, but in the interview the TM assured me that the sleepers are only for the teams and that the regional OTR guys run daycabs and get put up in hotels.

You sleep in hotels every night even if you are assigned a sleeper and a linehaul extra board guy. They will fire you if they find out you've been sleeping in that truck. Every driver has a company card.dwells40 Thanks this.

Hi there, I got a call from the Estes recruiter, I went to my interview, cleared my background check, a couple of days ago I went and did my drug test. Can I be confident that I’m hired contingent on my drug test?
