Mine had little chunks coming out but dropping my pressure from 110 to 105 helped! I figured with the lighter loads i hauled, there was no reason to run 110.

Rideandrepair, Siinman and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

I put over 100,000 on a set of Michelin's on my FLD before it went down. They still look like brand new and were wearing perfectly. Confident they would have easily hit 200,000 barring not running over something. They're 16 ply aired up to max 120 psi and I had balance bead media in them. Michelin absolutely makes the best steer tire by far.

I usually replace mine at about 100k, however, those 100k is within about 3 years since I’m local, and sometimes they get a little beat up due to the construction sites I’m picking up or delivering. I also get more for a credit casing cause they have more life on them to be used on a trailer or wherever they go.
