Can someone explain this , you can get a DD13 or a DD15 both at 450/1750 ? But the 15 gets better fuel mileage? Because you drive around at 900 rpm I guess……

Volvo D13 500hp 1850lbft 3.58 ratio severe duty ishift. All new injectors and cups at 156,000miles and now EATS one box needs replacing. Maybe these engines can’t handle super B weights, I don’t know. Tons of 13L engines pulling super B’s across the country in Volvo/Mack, Paccar, Detroit. Would I like more power? yes pleaseRideandrepair Thanks this.

Why the 3.58? What RPM do you run with those in it? That engine should be cruising around 1250 so it doesn't kill the emissions.Rideandrepair Thanks this.
