95 FLD 120. Started having a vibration at 60-70 mph. It's the worst at 65, and when empty. Feels more like front end, but not 100% sure. No flat spots or off wear on front tires. Front shocks have around 40k miles on them. Kingpins 20k. Rear drives have 5k on one axle, 20k on the other. Had some heel to toe wear on the drives, so rotated the older drives when I put new ones on. I think this is a new problem, but just replaced cab mounts and shocks, so may be feeling more since things have been tightened up. Planning on replacing rear shocks soon. Also have front spring pins and bushings to change. Driveline balanced 10k miles ago. Not sure what else to look at. Planning on turning steer tires around and making sure they have balance beads in them. I'm open to looking at just about anything. Was pretty rough riding empty today at 65, so ran at 62 or 67.

99% of the time, flatbed. Tires on it are about the same as drives. 20k on front axle, 5k on rear. Didn't notice any flat spots or odd wear. It's probably due for shocks as well, though.

If I had all that work done already and still had a vibration, I swear I’d have to drop driveline and check for a spalled u joint cross. If driveline was balanced it undoubtedly was spun up without any angle on the joints. Could be an issue providing new joints were not installed at the time. Don’t dismiss inter axle shaft and ride height, which I’m sure has been confirmed.

Only things not mentioned are carrier bearing and motor mounts. Unless the steers have a lot of miles on them. Even though they aren’t wearing uneven. They could be out of balance so bad they can’t be balanced. Happens on my Classic, usually after 70- 80k. Had one get so bad, the Truck was barely drivable. Tire still looked good, but had well over 100k maybe 130 or more. New tires seem to mask a lot of things. Make sure a rims not warped. Easy checked by spinning the wheel while placing a fixed object against the outside edge near the bead.

Check all of your U-joints and check the transmission and pinions for any play. Check Center bearing as stated. Check ride height as stated. Check it at different times to make sure your ride height is consistent

Check torque rods and spring bushings. Check that the leaf spring to hanger bolts have not come loose.

Check the wheel bearings for proper end play.

Airbags crooked? Check for loose u-bolts.

Vibration at certain speeds like that often are Driveline issues or Tire issues.

Did you figure this out? Same truck and EXACT same problem. I've changed every spring, hanger, bushing, shock, tire. Alignment is good.

I had a wheel seal go out on my power divider last week. I have been wanting to do the brakes on it for a while, so figured it was a good time. Changed drums as well as I could feel one was warped, and they had some wear and scale on them. Took away about 80% of my vibration. Still need to change the brakes and drums on the rear drive axle, but this made a huge difference. Thinking of changing my inner wheels also, since they're steel and have some rust scale. I think that things were thrown out of balance from wear and rust.

Sometimes shocks don't last long at all.

This makes me question whether that is a problem why did the tires do that to begin with?

I know you can't do everything at once but if that is unknown to you whether they've ever been changed or they haven't been since you've had it they probably are really wiped out.

If they are actually bad then you have to fix that first and then see if your vibration changes.

What else to check? Airbag ride height, wheel bearing adjustment on all Wheels, I like the balance beads for the tires, three axle alignment, rear bushings / torque arms, loose axle u-bolts or spring hanger bolts, check that pinions are tight... tires, tire wear,
and tire height can play games with you.

By the way it is very difficult to isolate the vibration just by how you feel it. It is very common you'll feel it in the front end but it's actually the back end throwing you around or I suppose Vice versa. I guess the idea of looking at a square frame with something out of alignment or out of balance that throws it would explain that it manifests in different areas.
