    https://www.hotcars.com/heres-whats-fake-about-operation-repo/

If you are going to say something, go on and say it all ...... who are they which you refer to several times?

And how is she to know it's being repo'd and not some random people trying to steal the car?

That isn’t always the case. Sometimes s*** happens and they try to work things out with the financial institution(s). A loss of job, death in the family(sometimes both at once) and/or the financial institution(s) unwillingness to budge/negotiate can play a factor. And sometimes people accidentally forget dealing with other issues. As I mentioned earlier the BF paid and got the car back but the way the towing company proceeded was way out of line.

That’s one show. There are countless videos, on various media outlets, that are not shows, but, people simply posting up what happens.

“They” are people who live like this. Be responsible, pay one’s bills, and one won’t find themselves in this situation.

The tow truck would be a start. The paperwork presented would be the next. These people know when they’re behind. It’s why so many will block in the asset by other cars, park them in their garage, inside a fence, etc. They’ve had several notices, before the repo man showed up.

Sure the BF paid, after it all went down. Financial institutions don’t just repo cars, because someone is a day late. Notices get served and phone calls get made. This didn’t just happen on a whim. It takes several days, even weeks. This was no surprise to any of them.

A previous employer and myself had to repo a couple vehicles. We offered everything possible to accommodate them. But, they simply never came up with their balances. It’s an even bigger PITA, when it’s a financial institution and they don’t have their own tow truck. We had our own rollback. No one on the financial side wants to have to go through it. It sucks.

There’s probably a more to this story. But, stories get written with agendas. The woman isn’t innocent. Again, all she had to do was surrender the car, which SHE DOES NOT own. Y’all act like non-payers have rights to stuff they haven’t paid for. They don’t. When you’re the financier and it’s your own money, perspectives change.

Even financial institutions can get it wrong sometimes. Read up on Santander Consumer and their reviews. They’ve been sued so many times for discrepancies it isn’t even funny.

Just because someone owns a tow truck it doesn't mean they're not a piece of crap. Also a $50 printer will make official looking documentation.
No, simply the tow company is just what makes people hate to tow companies
Also, you can't say she knew that the boyfriend was behind on payments. There is as good of a chance as not that she did not know.

Santander specializes in subprime auto lending. They’re huge, because there’s a huge market with that type of customer. That type of customer get involved in poor financial situations, because they make poor financial choices. Crappy lenders, like Santander, are opportunists. Don’t get one’s self into that type of situation, then, one doesn’t get taken advantage of. It’s pretty simple, really.

There are a lot of pieces of crap. But, it’s a pretty far stretch to assume the tow company is, before the woman.

Again, a pretty far stretch, with documents. Paperwork was presented. The woman most likely knew who the car financed through, just like she probably knew they were after the car.

The people who hate tow companies are people who don’t have their act together. The only interactions I’ve ever had with tow companies are because I needed their help. That’s a positive thing. If a person thinks negatively about a tow company, it’s because of their own actions; not the tow company. Think about it.

You don’t think the BF didn’t tell her what was up? Haha. OK, then. Keep living in that dreamland.

A lot of people don’t get into that situation. Ask anyone who’s had to deal with identity theft/fraud and spend money and time cleaning it up!
