The whole thing sounds made up anyway. Name the exec, the company and provide audio recording of the conversation or it never happened.tarmadilo, Bean Jr., tscottme and 1 other person Thank this. -
I was in Twin Falls (Jerome) at the Flying J stuck for a long weekend waiting to load and it was well into the high 90’s + the sun. The owner who was a New Canadian had all his Brethren working for him and me and couldn’t understand why I was the only guy that had to idle as the other guys didn’t mind it. I told him there was a hotel across the lot and he can book a room if he prefers but I’m not laying in the heat dying. I’m not out here to camp.

87°f is life threatening conditions?
What about all them years I spent digging holes by hand on the tree farms of south fla in the heat & humidity well above 87. Or mowing between the beds, or running the loader with no ac? Heck, one of the company pickups had working ac, & it wasn't mine..
How bout breathing HeO² mix (which robs the body of heat) at 290' in 33°f water with just a 7mm suit cause the hot water machine sheet the bed, but someone had to ride the jet sled or finsh the ocean cleaning..
Money compels men to take chances. But sitting in a 87°f ain't too much of a chance. More of a dumb choice.. -
