If one has been outta the industry for a long while (8 years) but still has a valid Class A CDL, what are the easiest companies (big or small, good and bad) to get on with and that would provide (pay for) a refresher course?

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I got off the road once for five years to dispatch it was like I never drove a truck when I started back. What I did was look around till I found a real jerk with like 200% turnover to hire me and I stayed with him for a year.Once you get a year in with no problems then you can go with anyone. No way would I go to school.Never have never will.ironhand Thanks this.
