GUILTY: Hussain convicted of manslaughter in 2018 Schoharie limo crash
Well the jury made the right decision!
Guilty of 20 counts of second degree manslaughter!
I was also glad the judge revoked bail and sent him straight to jail.
Now we will see where the appeals go?
I would think an appeal might be difficult when the defense called zero witnesses and the defendant didn’t testify?

    JMon and mjd4277 Thank this.

He will serve about 1/3 of the time and be out in a couple years .

just like the drunk driver that killed 17 kids on a bus in Kentucky a few years ago .
He got out in 6 years or so .

In New York, with that many counts, and given the delays with all the appeals and whatnot, and of course, the blatant disregard for safety and human life,I think they’ll throw the book at him and give him the maximum sentence.

He should’ve took the 3 years . Somehow his political connections changed or are no longer scared of something. I hope he gets the maximum sentence now.

He was a snitch for the FBI so he skated on the previous charges .

he will likely get preferred treatment here too .

    I don’t think so.
Remember the judge immediately revoked his bond and sent him straight to jail,as he recognized that the defendant was a flight risk. And I’m pretty sure he took those last minute appeals to stay out into account.
The Feds sure aren’t trying to interfere now,as they would be held culpable as well.
Wherever this guy is sent,he’ll have to watch his back!
