Absolutely. But make sure its clearly marked on the log for the seven days and has the start/stop dates.
*edit-Some employers want you to do a single page for each day. -
Thank you, Im sure my company will not care just wasn't sure with DOT.
-
Oops I did not see that topic.
-
You have to make sure it's in the same month though. You can log 1 month off duty on one sheet.
-
So I should have one sheet for 2-22 to 2-28 and another for 3-1 ?
-
yep. You can't combine months on 1 sheet
-
Technically its legal for more than one month, but every trucking company ive ever heard of requires months to be seperated.
Its kind of like the whole BS of you cant combine months in a bound log book. I used to do it all the time to save on paper and DOT never gave me an issue with it (and company didnt know LOL) If you ran outta pages in a logbook because you screw up a lot, and had to start a new logbook for the last day in a month, why waste the entire logbook for one log page? Know what i mean? Besides, logs arent even required to be bound together! -
Exactly, I log days off from one month to the next. The only one who will care might be your company so check with them on there policy. I have all ways run my logs straight through. When the one I'm on gets full I just pick up the next one and continue on from whatever date I'm on.

I tried to keep to one logbook per month, but it was more of an organization thing than anything else.
