The flashers can be more of a distraction. As Old & Gray sagely suggested, hold the brake pedal down for the light and ease off to move. It's a real pain but it works.

If any of you are going to Purina in Davenport you may have to come in off of Rockingham Road, the Mississippi River is flooding in town and they've closed a lot of the roads by the river
MIT Thanks this. -
Ty I’m going to be in Iowa on Monday and who knows where they will send me after delivery.Still undecided Thanks this.
-
The flooding there was bad enough to make the national news, I thought they'd closed the roads for construction and were trying to beat Indiana for the most screwed up roadwork title.

It would take some work to beat Indiana in that department.Still undecided Thanks this.

Arizona has them beat in regards to i-40 west of flagstaff.. the potholes are so bad on that interstate that they are now causing vehicles when they hit them to crash and the state of Arizona has now set up a 800 number to file claims against the state for damages to vehiclesStill undecided and mjd4277 Thank this.

Sorry if I don’t break out in tears for their “struggles”…..considering they are part of the problem and their struggles aren’t jack #### when their still pocketing millionsNashville Thanks this.

#### that sounds like how parts of I69 between Indy and Ft. Wayne was for awhile. I know they lowered the speed limit to 45 in places to keep people from tearing up their vehicles.Still undecided and drvrtech77 Thank this.

Like I said before, Gerdin is another Bernie Ebbers. He knows how to make acquisitions but doesn't know how to integrate anything.
Everything about this makes me sad. Pre-Heartland Millis was a great company. Other than Dan's fetish for punishing drivers for the dumbest ####, I absolutely loved working there. Now I catch myself saying "Man I'm glad I got out when I did" at least once a week over something I've read or heard.dwells40 and Still undecided Thank this.
