LOL of course. I only pulled one 80 miles empty when we did a relay load for a driver. It’s pretty cool, and I didn’t mind pulling it but they are awfully low to the ground!

Week 1 in the books. We’re both getting a lot better which is all you can ask for this point. I actually got to pull some dry vans in addition to all the flatbed work.

Really glad you and your wife enjoy one another's company that much let alone share the same occupation.
As much as i love mine, the thought of being in a confined space with her that long......
The thought of having to put up with some of her patients antics....
I don't mind the perfume of cow poop for one second, lol. -

Yes, but nothing set in stone as of now, we just know that we want a set schedule. 2pm to 2 am is the favorite right now.
Oxbow Thanks this. -
Nahbrown Thanks this.

I wouldn't suggest any night driving until both of you get used to the trailer off tracking and the feel for it becomes natural for the both of you.

Week 5 of local company training. We drive to work, drive local to pick up loads or deliver them Then drive home at the end of the day. I did 3 weeks of flatbed and this is my 2nd week of dry van. My wife's training has been reversed with three weeks of dry van and this is her second week of flat bed.
Amhof has been awesome and we are happy we signed on with them. So far only good surprises like **a brand new 2023 Freightliner** sitting in the yard waiting on us to finish training!
With flatbed training is usually 6 weeks for new drivers so hopefully we will be done next week. I feel like with patience (and maybe a pull up or two) I can put a trailer where it needs to be at this point.
