I-30 ex 1-6 JJ's Restaurant is still decent but because everyone just wants to park there and not buy anything else they now charge to park.

I-30 Ex 63. Southfork Truck Stop. Nothing fancy here, for sure, but newer restaurant had pretty good food. Place still has a lot of free parking.

I thought of another way to make trucking enjoyable.

    Go on home time.

By doing things that I just couldn't do with other employers. I like to smoke, so I smoke. I like to smoke while I'm driving the truck whenever I feel like it.

I once drove for Yellow, even though I was not a line-haul driver. I was a local dude, warehouse also. I'd drive them all too, even the line-haul units, because I did everything. That was expected of us.

One line-haul dude complained about a 'cigarette smell' in his cab after I had driven it to where it needed to go. He actually made a complaint about it! What a big baby!

So after that, I still smoked in the cab, and then messed with their "highway package", which is their CB radio, their AM/FM radio, pretty much everything they have to carry in their non-sleeper units! It's like a custom built package of wooden boxes and coolers!

After turning every dial and mucking around with everything in their 'package', I never received a "smoking" complaint ever again! :p

Nice to know you don't think about other drivers when you slip seat. Not everyone wants to smell that crap. There are many more non smokers than smokers. Why should the majority have to put up with the stench of the minority? You do realize that some people have sensitive noses and the stench of cig smoke can cause breathing problems?

My father has smoked since he was a teen and NEVER smokes in any vehicle, ever. So you can think about others if you're not being a selfish dooche.

I'm not burning cigarette holes into your seat. If a whiff of cig smoke bothers you, you are possibly in the wrong industry.

I don't give a #### what you're doing. It's not a whiff. I've driven trucks that people smoked in. The entire cab, EVERYTHING, stinks. Stop being a selfish dooche.

I signed up to be a commercial driver, not to be disgusted by selfish smokers who think everyone wants to smell that stench that they put out.

You sound like the of driver that I'm banging on the door of at 3am to get you to move because you decide to make a spot illegally right in front of my truck where I can't get out. Because....well......if I don't accept being blocked in by selfish morons I'm in the wrong industry.

I don't care what you signed up as. If you cannot handle a smoking driver, there's a good likelihood that you cannot handle the industry in general.

Have you ever used the facilities at your average Flying Hook? I'll assume you haven't, since MY smoking is the least of anyone's worries.

"He changed my CB channel, and I think I smelled smoking!" He touched my day cab box!

Yellow is a joke, and so are most of their drivers.
