Bro this is an absolutely BRUTAL pay cut. You're losing over $200 a week! It's a complete douche move of them to just cut like that. Absolutely crazy!

 

I guess you can keep hauling that .72/mile freight, then...at 43000 lbs...and over 1000 miles.

You wanted into the trucking business. Now you are. The business is what it is.
Right now we're in a down cycle. If you can't handle it, get out and do something you like better.

 

The problem is the majority of these “Owner operators” have never seen a down cycle. They believed the rates during the pandemic were the “new normal”.

 

In other words,piss poor planning!
