Vandalism, 13 tires lost, at least 10 trucks hit

Hate to hear that. Years ago in Austin there was a homeless dude who would go on periodic tire slashing sprees. Would hit 20 or 30 cars at a time. Took em a looooong time to catch him. Think he did a couple months in jail. Maybe.

 

Thats a couple months of free meals and a warm place to sleep.
You cannot punish someone who has nothing to lose

 

So several holes in small groups on each tire?
How was this done? Seems like a ton of work for no reward.
There has got to be more to this story, I wonder if we will ever find out the whole deal.
I wonder if anyone caught them on a dash cam.
We need to develop some sort of neighborhood watch type culture for truckstops

 

I would think the Eco Terrorist's are at fault, these "people" have been trained to "save the planet" they see this as a good thing.

Of course it doesn't do squat, and only going to cost you money to replace but these "people" are working with a full deck.

I remember a few years back at a Truck Stop I used to frequent we had some driver pulling trailer pins, which was easy to spot, if you actually checked.

 

That's a great concept, but unfortunately we have more people recording the stuff going on at truckstops then actual people doing anything to help at truckstops.

Sorry to hear this happened. Time, money, a place to park that you'll probably never go back to, the anger, all around frustrating.

I disagree, they should have a piece of lead in their cranium.

 

We actully had a small animal rights terrorist group a few years back do this to about a dozen farms in missouri when i lived there. Punks were breaking in at 2 am and doing stuff like putting spray foam into fuel tanks and turbos, slashing air lines, setting fires, flattening tires, smashing mirrors, and so on right up until one of them got a fatal dose of 12 guage to the chest when the farmer caught him mid act and the idiot rushed him with a crowbar. Did almost 6 million collectivly in damages.

Did a few rounds in the news for like a week.
