The dash in the Peterbilt has been the same shape since they came out in 2011 or so. The only thing different now is the cup holders and the screen instead of gauges.
-
i never did care for the newer dash style... first time i drove a 579 when i wrecked my truck back in 2021... had 18 579 for a couple weeks. really enjoyed the wide cab, but could just never get used to the dash and computer screens...
Cat sdp, kuzima93, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
My take on the illustration is that there are three pedals though!

I think that’s a shadow of the brake pedal.Cat sdp Thanks this.

I just was looking at a side pic of a 589 on Faceplant and immediately thought of a Lonestar

I have terrible eyesight. But, even mine isn’t THAT bad.

Siinman, Geronimo17, KrumpledTed and 1 other person Thank this. -
It’s a full can sunk into the bodywork. The air routing is goofy as hell under the hood. Air is drawn from towards the bottom of the can.
-
The more I stare at them, the more they resemble each other though
Oxbow Thanks this.
