Feel free to PM me if you'd rather not go into too much detail publicly. I'm extremely curious at your company selection process and how you ended up deciding on Swift. As you know, I've been following your posts for a while now, and I'm surprised that you decided on Swift as I remember some posts from you, which gave me the idea that you were deadset on smaller, lesser-known companies. Fwiw, my wife and I are leaning towards going with a mega at this point too.

So I have two tickets on my record. One failure to yield and one speeding ticket all before I retained my CDL.

That’s why I decided to go with Swift. My other options are Indian River, Stevens, Trans Am, and maybe CR England. From with the recruiter over at Stevens told me they are forced New York City.

So Swift gives you the option to turn down NYC loads? Careful with those promises. Some companies will say no NYC, and end up sending you to the bronx.

So I updated my other thread on Sage down in Fort Pierce. Having a blast and looking forward to Thursday when I graduate.

So I graduated truck driving school. Got my certificate and honestly I’ve decided to go with Indian River. I have my reasons and honestly I hope that in the end run my determination pays off.

I also submitted my one week notice to work today. All my employer wanted was one week so I did that and they’re gonna let me finish out my week from today.

    Good choice. Good luck.
And remember the Opus #1 rule to trucking: If you don't know what to do, don't do anything. You'll figure it out in time.

    Concorde and Seth0194 Thank this.
