Taking another swing at it

So, after losing all that weight, it created a new problem. Excess skin which would leave me prone to infection after a transplant, so next week I go get plastic surgery to remove my skin skirt I now have. Then there’s a 6 week minimum recovery. Then dental clearance, then maybe I’ll be listed.
On another note, I started a metal band named Morta Lyfe. Already put stuff on streaming services and iTunes. You tube channel as well. It’s therapeutic, but it bums me out I can’t jam for 6 weeks during recovery (nothing over 10 lbs) like a poisoned Kung ## master restricted from using martial arts.
My cdl is still active but not “current “ due to not renewing my med card. I figured after this recovery I’ll get it updated just to have the option. (Been working as a cook in a brewery for the last year)
Not much else to tell. My dog shattered my sliding door trying to come outside when I was cleaning the yard…so that was expensive.

I will, just not writing books. Music is a passion.

 

Today is my birthday. I’m 1 week from my plastic surgery date. My bands face book page just hit 1k followers. I mowed the lawn, and put a pile of stuff for dump day beside the garage. I feel accomplished and I’m not trying to dwell on the upcoming surgery but it does sneak in now and then. I’m more bummed I can’t play bass for over a month.
