Man those were some wild times. I was just a baby faced kid. You remember that time we were running out to Elk City Oklahoma? We were coming through Memphis hammered down. About 2 clicks from the river we made contact. You were dodging bubbles and donks while I was lighting them boxes up. We had the hustle and flow soundtrack playing on a PA system wired to a cobra 25.
We could just see the top of the pyramid as we crested the hill. We could tell they had the river bridge barricaded with piggly wiggle trucks. I didn’t know how we were going to get out of there.
But I forgot my buddy @High Stepper used to coach JJ da boss in wiffle ball. JJ couldn’t have been more than 14 at the time, but his momma had a mint Buick grand national, even then that boy could race.
Anyhow ol’ stepper cut the wheel and with JJ running the front door we made it to president’s island where a barge carried us over to west Memphis. I think we lost about 20 minutes which we had done made up before we got to lone oak.

Yes I do. A few weeks later we were on the Muskogee turnpike and the turbo siezed. You yanked the downpipe off the exhaust cause we were on a schedule. I remember you hooked up a cordless ratchet and several extensions, drilled a hole in the firewall and started spinning the turbo from the passenger seat.
Everything was going good til you swapped out to a 20 volt lithium pack and overboosted, I'm getting sideways at 80 mph trying to watch for potential ambushes while shotgunning krystals.
There was a shortage on 104mm borg warners so we went to harbor freight and bought a bunch of battery packs for the time being, pharmaceutical loads have a zero tolerance policy for being late.
It wasn't long after that @HoundDog7 met us and wired up a remote to control the minigun. That ammo write off is what saved me from paying in a lot of taxes some years.Crude Truckin', lynchy, HoundDog7 and 2 others Thank this. -
@HoundDog7 was a mechanical genius. Every time we had a big run and was over due on maintenance we’d break him out of the mental hospital. He rebuilt that KT on a run from Miami to oak island. We didn’t even have to stop. Just had to keep the rpm’s below 1800 while he torqued the head bolts.Crude Truckin', lynchy, HoundDog7 and 2 others Thank this.

We had some good times. I still have an old picture of my service truck from back then. I remember @Jubal Early Times broke down on some dirt road in Utah avoiding the DOT and lost a transmission. If it hadn't been for that ex M.S Carriers cabover freightliner you were running at the time, my truck crane would have basically been useless.
