I have a 07 357 peterbilt factory dump truck with a c11 and an Allison 4500 in it. The fan comes on and goes off with the engine fan switch and also with the air conditioner as it supposed to. When I put the truck in gear soon as you hit drive the engine fan comes on soon as you put it in neutral it shuts off. Only light I have on is a abs light. Any ideas would be great thank you.

Wiggle test the connection at the high side Fan cycle switch for the A/C. Suspect loose pin connection to switch or open copper inside the insulation.
Even tho the AC is not in use, the switch is normally closed. Open circuit will turn fan on.singlescrewshaker, Oxbow and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
It literally only does it when you put the truck in gear soon as you hit drive or reverse it comes on you hear the solenoid on the fire wall engage it
Soon as you hit neutral it shuts right off
I just put a condenser coil on it it calls for 2.50 pounds of Freon so basically 3.33 cans -
Engine is moving when you put it in gear.
Hook up and monitor the engine Fan switch inputs and see which one is commanding the fan on.
My previous suggestion is most common failure. -
Yessir I appreciate it hopefully tomorrow I can get it where someone has cat et and they can hook to it
