I don't think it's a one day indicator. Every year south gets busy at this time. While it's not Covid era crazy years, it's still gonna be very decent till July.
Like today I booked Nashville to Delaware 800 miles for $3000 5klb. For the last few months this was a $2000 lane at best.

 

Don’t go off the what normal media outlets post, look at industry posts. Freighwaves, Transport topics, etc.

 

I barely glanced over that and can see it was service driven with everyone else tanking.

Think I got it figured out Dave, with it being so rough and tough right now, I'm gonna sell my truck and trailer, sign onto Hurricane express. It appears 24/7 those trucks stay running with ALL them fancy lights on. It must be in the contract to keep the lights on, to catch more big fish. Was reading that after 6 months you can lease the truck of Your choice with the 2 tone color choice!!! Those guys must make a killing!!!

I'd really like to know the success rate with them? LOL
