PAM transport (Scam Transport)

Literally I have been reading about the farmer dude woth the lease purchase frome Crete and I've already changed my mind lol

 

Take a look at Schneider. I had pretty good luck with them.

 

I actually just left them. I got cdl there and some experience. I was thinking about the lease purchase and while waiting this 2 weeks for a truck at pam I decided to put in apps and got hired on at Hill Bros, and start next week. I was just hoping for some really great review on pam incase they called before next monday haha. It was a long shot I know

 

"Many" L/P's are scam. Can't say about PAM, or anyone other major player.

 

Just save up 10K and go buy a truck. Lease purchase is a very bad deal.

 

Leasing or starting out as a an o/o right now is a very bad idea in the first place. Companies are going belly-up for a reason, and you don't need to make their truck payments for them.

Good luck to ya! I havent heard anything about Hill Brothers in so long I thought they were bought out by Knight or somebody.....let us know how the are now.

Yup. Still there-7 years and 6 trucks later!lol
Things are still okay so far but even they’re affected by the economy. For the first time as long as I’ve been there they’ve cut out the holiday pay for Memorial Day weekend. But it’s ok. Another sign of the times is that we’ve had quite a few owner/operators sign their trucks on to run freight. The ones I’ve talked to say the same thing: They were running their own authority until the market tanked and now some of them are basically in survival mode!
