Holiday weekend work after doing the DOD stuff to Denver. Stacked the step decks onto a coworker. I grabbed this to bring back to Grand Rapids.

I have a feeling by the end of this it's not going to be so much as a jet ski so much as a jet tugboat.

I'll have to have someone else be the loudmouth, I'll just be the crash test dummy.
You would have thought I would have learned my lesson getting slammed into the asphalt and sand and gravel and the occasional road sign. But now I'm ready to get slammed into the water.D.Tibbitt, cke, Landincoldfire and 3 others Thank this. -

Looking good . What do u use to cover the windshield ? I haven't been able to find anything that works good yetFeedman, CAXPT, FerrissWheel and 3 others Thank this.

I don't know who makes them, but it's a custom made cover, it's got padding in it, and it has some big vinal loops to grab onto , no D rings.
It might be Sharps Tarps make them, cause they make most of our stuff, I'll have to see if I can find a tag. They are supplied to us. (They are out of grants pass or)
Our old ones were super thick canvas. -
I had one made by Tri State Canvas that is just like what you describe. Kind of a pain in the butt to put on, but I haven't bought a $450 windshield since.Feedman, CAXPT, FerrissWheel and 3 others Thank this.

Here's a closer up of the cover itself
The padding is actually between two layers of vinyl canvas so it's weather proof. If there is a tag on it probably be on the other side i'll take a look when I take it off.
Landincoldfire, 01HFT, Feedman and 7 others Thank this. -

If anyone here knows Brookville, PA, this is where Route 36 North meets 322 West. Edit to add: If I was doing this load, that turn alone would have kept me up the night before, and maybe even the night before that.
I passed him on 119 just north of Indiana, but my photography skills were not near as impressive.
