2000 KW W900 vs 2000 FREIGHTLINER FLD132 CLASSIC XL

To get off the FL point. I like KW and Pete. But a 23 yearold truck is just that. I have a 23 yearold FL, seen other brands in the same or worst condition. Just spent 2 days cutting and welding on my cab air ride crossmember. Not FL fault its a rust belt truck. They all built great trucks those years. The FL will be lighter, but only means anything to some. Quality trucks ended in 03.

Have you ever seen a log book? I’m not being a smart ### here but telling your story the way you want there are still those rolling DOT boys that miss that cat and mouse game we played for years. They know where you started backing that book up before you started. The way it works now is a 1 truck 1 driver carrier gets in audit trouble way faster than a multiple truck carrier. I almost promise you if you’re leased on any where that allows paper 1 uh oh and you’ll be history. No I’m not a omg if the man catches you kinda guy cuz look I’ve made a #### good living makin 5 look like 10. Wasn’t much I would not do if they was rattlin that money can. And I still believe that they can not eat you nor take your birthday away. I’ll also say that hard work ain’t always been a crime though most think it is nowadays. They say it’s my type that caused it. That if you get paid enough you ain’t gotta do all that. Well we was just poor boys trying to get by. If they think for second we got heavy or brought one up to date that was behind we done it for regular price they are special. However it is a different time and a different place now.

 

Setback axle looks better IMO. One of the reasons I prefered the high hood T800 to the W900.
