Who says so
Says who, you?
Don't be nasty like the unhappy people here. You could politely ask instead of sneering and accusing.
You are supposed to be upholding the standards around here.
Do even YOU think six figure salaries are a "myth"?
You are supposed to be well informed.

The point is, it is up to you. If I want an extra day off - I inform them, I do not have to ask.
It is not just the money, which (contrary to the beliefs of some here) can be had at many companies; it is the flexibility and general reasonableness and good will of the admin people that is so refreshing.
Per my OP, I started out making about 1700 (5 day week) for about the first three months.
Month four, I made some interventions, getting my following 6 week average over 1850.
Then, on April 10, I met with the Head Op's Mgr and just held him to what Fraley was advertising and told him I thought some inefficient planning was holding me back.
He agreed and last 7 or 8 weeks, I averaged 2200.
So again, I am not saying it is easy to get that. But if you lean in and maybe be a little pushy, that's what you make without knocking yourself out. Top few percent drivers average upwards of 2700. I have seen their settlments, many $3k weeks and almost none under $2k.
But the stay out for three weeks at a time, take minimal breaks and know all the ins and outs.
There is a big range between the bottom and the top here and it is largely a matter of how serious and smart people are about their work. That is meritocracy and it seems perfectly fair to me.Last edited: Jun 5, 2023

It may be a mistake to post this; not one of the "skeptics" here asked, they just keep calling me a liar and other insults. I don't want to reward anti social behavior, but here is my "Driver Dashboard" it is not quite up to date, not including my most recent settlement of $2,297.
This data and averages include earlier months, when I was not doing so well. After April 9, things significantly improve. April 9 is when I made my strongest intervention - per OP - and my average since then (last 8 weeks) has been: $2282 per week. So, my original "claim" of $2200 per week was modest. I am expecting things to improve as we are supposed to be busier in the Summer,
My year to date average is only $2,019 per week but I was very clear that I started out slower and that I was currently averaging $2200
Since my character was repeatedly slandered, certain folks might also note the metrics showing:
* Production Rank: 12 out of 135 (for my fleet)
* CSA Rank: 1 out of 474 (for entire flat bed division)
* Average Year To Date CPM (all miles): 94 CPM **I only "claimed "about 90 CPM"
Again, it is really shameful that you people (including a TTR Staff) would not even ask, and only defaulted to slander and insults.
We can do better.

@dogtrucker --
Haven't you learned?....
Insults are FREE -- on the other hand....constructive, worthwhile criticism usually will somehow cost extra.
Thanks much for the dashboard post -- and for answering my questions.

Thats pretty dang good pay. Think ruffled feathers may be out of envy. Seems like there are not many out there making a steady 2k a week, let alone 2500 or more in a W2 situation. I have a great set up myself with a salary per day whether I work or not, can max out at $3080 if itbis a 7 day week.
Keep on keeping on man and let haters hate.hotrod1653, Bean Jr. and dogtrucker Thank this. -
Most of The threads and conversations on this site revolve around entry level work, even though most of the commenters have been at it many years. I stuck with entry level employment a long time because I was afraid the economy would "crash" and food hauling is safe. I wish I had got out sooner. Everything drivers complain about - the micro management, lack of trust and respect, etc - is because they remain with companies that train or take drivers with one year experience and tickets and accidents. A company with higher standards is totally different - money is only part of it.
I always was looking on TTR for stories about better opportunities and so was glad I could finally tell about one myself. I thought that is what others wanted to see too - some do, certainly, but others ...what are they doing here' what do they think the purpose of this place is?
My I ask, what kind of trucking are you doing?lual and Aoki Gahara Thank this.
