I hope not. We need less government breathing down our necks, not more.

You missed my point, transparency for the jerks that want you to haul from Florida to Texas for less than 2 bucks a mile, today I told a broker I'D only profit $250 from Houston to Laredo, the sob said I'D be making more than what he does in a day, LIAR LIAR, some are stealing over 40% of the pay, so again if a shipper had to post the rates, the bargaining field would be level, SOMETHING MUST GIVE, GET A BLOWOUT, YOU MIGHT BE IN THE RED!!!

Bruh, it's obvious you have no clue, the rates are below operating cost, so whoever your talking to must have a gravy gig, because shippers like Coke, Budweiser, and others have went up on products, but to haul it is way less than before Covid hit, so fuel, and store prices went up, and you're OK receiving lesser pay, I don't know about you, but I don't like being PIMPED OUT by some POS BROKER!!!

When a broker posts a load and 20 truckers call on it within a minute, it does not matter how much broker got the load for, truckers will still bid as low as they can to underbid the competition

You apparently don’t know that that “law” already exists.
All you have to do is ask them to show you.

Siinman and Lite bug Thank this.

First off, there’s nothing better off after the government got involved. Second, don’t haul $2 a mile loads. Who cares how much brokers make. Who cares how much other trucking companies make. If you want direct freight go after it. No one is stopping you. You’re like the kid being picked last in gym class for dodge ball, complaining to the gym teacher to do something about it. What you should do is find a way to charge more for your service, and then you won’t be picked last at dodge ball anymore.

Just going to post this because I do it in every thread on this topic……

Seems weird to me that a business owner would want the government stepping in and regulating how much another business can make.
