Ahhhhh…. Nope. My former 1994 379 turned excellent, my current 2014 turns like crap.

Ok couldn’t disagree with that....since I unloaded my ‘05 for a ‘96 when I couldn’t exempt the ‘05Diesel Dave and Bean Jr. Thank this.

My Volvos turned very sharp. My 1995-1997 Petes, at max turn, the steer tires were almost touching the truck frame. There wasn't any room for decreasing turn radius. I'm sure the modern Pete's may be different.

O/O. No choice on the trans. All autos.

The sharper you turn the more you destroy tires/suspension bushings,

Neither. Today, I'd go K-Whopper all the way. The "Dubja 9" has been around for so long, it's earned my respect.

I’m currently driving a 19 freightliner cascadia dd15 with an 18 speed 323 rear it’s been a great truck no major problems the only reason I’m getting out of it is to go into a 2022 kenworth T680 next generation with an automatic transmission hopefully it will be a good one. But as for your question I would lean towards the freightliner if it’s your first truck cheaper to fix and maintain. Hope this helpsSnow Hater Thanks this.

Generally speaking the DD15 is more reliable and fuel efficient than the x15 or paccar engines. Also the one box emissions system is better than the Cummins system that paccar uses. But a used truck depends on who had it before you . A well maintained low idle truck that pulled medium to heavy weights often works better than a high idle truck that pulled light despite the fact the light truck averaged better fuel economy.
Snow Hater Thanks this.
