I've had people complain about not having their post taken seriously and you and a couple of other members were mentioned specifically.
Making fun of people and criticizing their posts just because you find them amusing needs to stop.

 

He made one quick post then left and hasn't been back. Not enough information to make any recommendations.

 

The fact that they wouldn’t hire the OP because of a relative seems a little odd. First time I’ve heard of an employer rejecting someone literally because of “guilt by association”.
Either way for the OP this is a blessing in disguise. There’s no telling what else the company may have tried to pin on him,even though he had nothing to do with it!

 

I've seen plenty of places that asked, "have you or a relative ever worked for XYZ Company?"
Happens all the time.

So, your brother gets fired for being a looser. You're going to retaliate by hiring on and screwing up their equipment. That's why they ask.

 

Good you mentioned that. I've also seen that question on several job applications. Pretty good indicator you won't be hired if the answer is "yes."
